This Family Grows 6,000 lbs of Food on 1/10th of an Acre

Wow!

I’ve recently been thinking about growing food in small spaces and I think you’ll love this. It’s a short video on how this family grows 6,000 lbs of food on 1/10th of an acre!

Incredible! Watch it here:

How would you like to turn your little home into something similar?

Sounds cool doesn’t it? But I can understand… it might be a little intimidating to turn your whole backyard upside down. Here’s the good news, you don’t have to tear up your whole yard to start growing nutrient dense food.

In fact, the EASIEST way to start is by growing microgreens. And they can grow right on your kitchen windowsill.

Plus get this: they have up to 40x more nutrients than regular veggies, they only take 14 days to grow from seed to harvest, and it’s so easy your 6-year old can do it.

Wanna give it a try? Check out our 14 Day Microgreens Challenge here

Can’t wait to see the smile on your face when you get your first taste of your very own homegrown microgreens!

Keep up the good work and share with me about your experience with growing in small spaces in the comments below:

This is an amazing story!!! I have seen urban gardens but I will have to say that this one tops them all. Bless their heart with their progressive efforts to “bloom where they are planted”. 🙂 A very encouraging story for all in the days we are living in. We are not in an urban area and are fortunate to have some property and I especially found it encouraging. It just goes to show that anyone can eat and grow more healthy food if they are willing to try and be diligent. Thanks for sharing this story!

Amazing what can be accomplished in a relatively small area but i t looks like it took some money to build it up

Mmmmm… yes I’m sure it was an investment. But considering the produce they get off of it I’m sure they have more than gotten a return on the investment! Amazing little place. I’d love to go visit sometime. 🙂

Paul, I am trying to do the micro greens challenge, but not sure which seeds to get. Which do you recommend?

Hey Wayne! Fantastic. I’d suggest starting with Kale and some Red Cabbage. Red Cabbage has the highest nutrients ever recorded. Lettuce is another easy one to start out with.
