Entering the Garden Bloggers Hall of Fame

Hey friends, I just returned last week from the first ever garden bloggers conference down in Atlanta where we had a couple days packed full with great garden blogging info. But, I’ll have to say the highlight for me was to be able to connect with some of the other leaders in the online gardening world! And here’s some credit to Digital Sherpa for helping give the conference a real down-to-earth family feel. It was a pleasure.

And the second highlight was that we won the best new garden blog of the year award inducting Born to Grow into the Garden Bloggers Hall of Fame! (I say we because first of all, don’t look at me. With God as a partner amazing things happen and really, every good gift comes from His hand – so praise the Lord. And second, because of you. Without you I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today – and I’m not forgetting that… so here’s a big “thanks” to all of you! And a special thanks to those who put in their vote for the blog! 😉 )

Congratulations to the other winners as well!

Best Overall Blog: Margaret Roach, A Way to Garden
Best Writing: Garden Rant
Best Design and Photography: David Corscadden, Beyond the Wild Garden

And now, as a little celebration I’ve decided to launch my first ever “Epic Garden Giveaway”. Some of the details have yet to be pounded out – but one thing’s for sure – someone will come away with my full 12 module online organic gardening university course. More on that coming soon!

And now for a peek into the lettuce and endive patch:

How wonderful! Congratulations! I follow your posts on fb and read all your emails. In fact, my husband and I were just on the website!

Because of your work, this year my husband and I switched all our growing(we only do a small amount but hope to increase next year, moving from pots to both pots and ground)to organic.

Thank you for your posts! I look forward to hearing more about the Epic Garden Give Away, and entering to possibly win the online university course.

As God continues to give you knowledge I pray that the purpose of your mission if fulfilled…as God designs..

    Blessings,
    Roseann
