I tried to grow potatoes in last year, but I watered them too much and they rotted. So, this year, I cut back on the water, and they didn’t grow well at all. I cannot find a watering guide for potatoes. Is there a rule of thumb for watering potatoes during rainy times as well as drought times? Also, is there a difference in the water needs for determinant and indeterminant potatoes. Thank you, in advance, for your time.
